<p>After seeing the Is Cornell overrated? thread, I decided to make a thread for Penn being UNDERRATED. Even though Penn was ranked 6th in USNews, it has still been criticized by many people. What do you think? My opinion… underrated</p>
<p>6th is a reasonable place for Penn. On CC, Penn is generally underrated.</p>

<p>I find that people on CC bash Penn, but every where else it is over rated. Under rated would be Harvard. JK</p>

<p>UPenn has top 10 law, top business, and top 3 medical school. UPenn has skyrocketed to preeminence in recent years. It is all due to their prolific fundraising campaigns and really good leadership. It certainty earned the rank they deserve.</p>
<p>Med and Law schools should have zero impact on their undergrad ranking. Same with prolific fundraising…otherwise the U of Billy Mays and the U of Vince McMahon woud be top 10.</p>
<p>Penn is lacking the recognition it deserves and will continue to lack it for as long as Penn State exists.</p>
<p>I personally think Penn should play Penn State in a football game to determine who gets to call themselves Penn. Then Penn can merrily get crushed and change its name to Wharton University, or Franklin University…or Claudia Cohen University…</p>
