is repetition the key to act science?

if i keep doing the ACT science tests and checking them for what kind of things i missed, will me score eventually go up ?

I feel like this section is sort of a combination of reading comprehension and the ability to interpret tables & graphs. I assume practice will help…

That’s honestly what I think too @intparent science on the ACT is barely based on hardcore science facts. You really have to be able to quickly look at tables and read the information in the passage without the tables and just find the answer. I tend to analyze the experiments and figure out every single detail about it, which ends up hurting me in the end. I’m going to retake the ACT soon (as I took the Feb ACT and it was my first time) but in the meantime, I’m going to just keep practicing the science over and over until I’m satisfied with the result. Good luck guys!

I took every practice science test that I could find. I found that the trick to science is to do the sections with easily readable graphs first so you don’t miss the easy points. I didn’t use this strategy at first and got a 30, but I kept on practicing and I got a 36 on the science section on the February ACT.

Do NOT concern yourself, or worse, be intimidated with useless and unnecessary information (80% of info presented) on the science section. Understand the question, look & analyze corresponding graphs or charts, deduce your answer.

Boom. Next problem.

By the way, repetition is the key to everything

Edit: I got a 35 on science this past September. You can do it too.
