I ended up with a C in a class and it lowered my GPA a lot and i know if I retake it I will get an A in the class and with that A my GPA will be a 3.93. What I really want to know is if Harvard, or any ivy league college really, looks down upon doing something like that?

No idea, but I would think that a low gpa would lead more quickly to a rejection than retaking a class. Don’t think there would be anything bad with retaking the class - what may look bad is doing badly in it in the first place, which can not be eradicated. Retaking it can erase it more than anything else, so go for it…

would retaking a class even show up? wouldn’t just replace the C?
