Science seems like it’s the hardest section to study for (with math probably being the easiest). It’s definitely been my lowest score. What recommendations, in terms of books/study habits/methods of taking the test would you recommend? My method generally is first looking at the questions and then finding out any necessary info in the passages, but that still doesn’t get me quite as high as I’d like.

Thanks for any info! (I know this question’s been asked a lot, I wasn’t sure what specific topic I should ask in… I’ll delete it if needed, lol.)

the trick to the science section is to read the information (not too carefully) and analyze the graphs first. draw arrows corresponding to trends: is there a gradual increase, is the relationship inverse? most importantly, make sure you are marking stuff down. then go to the questions and answer them one by one.

i need advice on science, my lowest scoring section as well.

every single high scorer i have seeked advice from has told me not to read anything and to read the questions first and hunt & peck for the answers. for me personally, i’ve taken the act a few times using that method and my highest score in science has been only a 25 in that section, so it most def. does not work for everyone.

so mattw09, i find ur method different and I feel it may work so I will prob try it out

anyways, haha…Bamboozler the only real way to prepare for the science section is to take practice tests, do as many as possible! :)

We can do it! =]
