Is SIUE: Southern Illinois University Edwardsville good for CS Major/Math Minor? (Bachelors degree)

Is SIUE good for CS/Math? I don’t really mind the social/dorm scene. I just want to know about academics. Do students go to do a Ph.D. right after bachelors from this college (Are there good enough research opportunities)? Do students get internships and what are the job prospects (in CS) after graduating from this university?

Honestly, I don’t want to (cannot) fund my masters so I either have to get enrolled in a fully-funded PhD program (most PhDs are fully funded) OR I have to get a job in the US after getting the bachelors degree.

PS: I am an international student if that helps.

Likely not - but why not contact the CS department and ask for their outcomes.

Cs is very employable so if you’re good, you should be able to get an OPT with STEM extension. SIU-Edwardsville is okay but make sure you express interest in/apply to the Honors college.
IU-S isn’t great either but the Honors College makes it better and it’s urban so easier for internships.
Look at all universities in MN, KS, IA.
