Is SkillsUSA a prestigious extracurricular?

I’ve been wondering this for a while now. I’m applying next year to Stanford and the top 6 UC’s (California resident) and I’ve been trying to add as much weight to my app as possible with extracurriculars.

I won SkillsUSA state twice and I won SkillsUSA nationals once for audio production. I know that’s seen pretty highly in the technical school world, but I was curious how actual universities see this? I want to be a biomed or chemical engineer, and I just happened to have a skill in the recording arts so I did the competition, beating out 50 or so teams.

Can I get others input on this?

Just to throw this out there, I won an 18,000 scholarship to attend a recording arts technical school in Pennsylvania. Should I denote the fact that I turned that down/was awarded it? Does the scholarship hold weight even though its for technical school?
