Is something wrong with the mindset of all these top applicants to ivy leagues?

Well, after reading many “chances topics” I see very very good students saying stuff like “it’s not much” “i’ll get blasted out of the water” “should i have done [insert other EC here]?” I read it on some website (can’t recall now) and thought i’d see what you guys have to say. It seems that these kids something like anorexia where they always think they’re not doing enough work even when they have a gazillion good EC’s and 2200+ SAT scores

-_-;;

Great comparison to anorexia. That’s funny but kind of accurate. It’s never enough.

Very true, but college admissions are so cut throat, it’s hard to be content with your current stats.
