I’m working on my application for Fordham University and the essay topic is “With which literary character do you most readily identify? What traits do you share?” I am a comic book fan and I wrote an outline for a practice college essay about which fictional character I most identify with and discussed Spider-Man. Does he classify as a literary character and would be work for this essay topic?

Bump, someone help me please.

No, I am sorry to tell you that I can’t see Spiderman as a literary character. It is more a character from popular culture and since they specified literary character I’d say no. Now if they said ‘fictional character’ you’d be good.
