Is SSTP prestigious for a rising junior for the summer? how much is it helpful?

Neuroscience related research at SSTP - for 3 weeks - is there any alum that can help understand how useful this program was? We need to decide on it soon hence this request please

At what institution? And “useful” for what purpose? There are a lot of things students could get out of such programs, but its usefulness for any given student will depend on what the student is wanting from it.

I’m not an alum but IMO if you didn’t get anything better (like RSI or BU RISE) then Iowa SSTP is solid.

Oh I see thats nice to know. but RSI and RISE are for juniors which she will apply next year. My DD is a current sophomore and all her other decisions come later this month and we need to decide on this within a week that makes it worse and hence checking if I can get some feedback
