Is Stanford a...rare collecter?

I was playing Pokemon for the hell of it. It was such a long time since I’ve done so. I noticed my old profile seven years ago remained intact and I searched through…I realized that I only captured the RARE Pokemons with unique abilities and what not (common pikachus are OUT of the question). I only caught about 13 pokemons out of hundreds including legendary ones and uncommon ones. But I also realized that I didn’t bother capturing a few, say, Moltres (a rare legendary fire bird) because I already had a Charizard (A less rare, one of a kind…but somehow, I liked the less powerful Charizard better).
I was thinking maybe Stanford is like that…maybe Stanford is a rare collector…Am I crazy? What are your thoughts?

I can’t really tell whether you’re using an analogy for a legitimate question or just joking around.

i think you need a nap.

When I played Pokemon, I played to win. Period. Stanford collects winners.

From FaceBook interactions, I’ll say a very resolute “Yes” to the title question. There seem to be lots of people who immediately come across as being freaky and a little awkward - eg me - and I LOVE IT.

I would say yes to original question. For sure.

Thinking about it, Pokemon could be an interesting essay topic.

Lol you would not believe what people use for essay topics… My friend did her common app essay on Puyo Pop…

I’d say yes, since u won’t find any of the same ppl…like ur charizard and moltres example…same background, but each would bring something to the table that the other might not have been able to bring

Charizards definitely >>>> Moltres, which isn’t close to my favorite.

However, anyone knows Articuno is the coolest.

Clearly, mathboy. He just looks infinitely more awesome. Like a night phoenix or something.

I’ve long had a crush on Psyducks.

i’m a slowpoke actually… sloooowpooooooooooooooke

I gotta say…warturtle is da ****…I mean what other pokemon could pull-off cloud-like ears

Yeah, i mean I HATE it when i have to switch in the pkmn center. I just wish I could simply carry all the ones I caught. So I limit myself for just 7. Even though moltres is super legendary, I already have a flying (Zapdos, which is rare flying electric hybrid) and charizard (which is fire dragon). So I REJECted Moltres. It kinda reminded me of Stanford admissions…yea I m crazy

What was the question!? o-o

No you’re not. I see the comparison now  You’re straight.

Would Ash’s Pikachu count as rare? :D

Anyways, when I read this thread, I went  but then I laughed. Funny.

Pokemon is the best thing ever invented.

^ lol haha maybe
but its soo incredibly weak in the tv shows. you’d have guessed that by the time it was at the hoen (whats the new world called in diamond and pearl??) it would be lv 200+
but it still loses battles with common pokemons! (you’d have guessed it would have been freakishly strong after facing/watching battles with lugia, mewtwo, celebi, rayquaza, etc in the movies)

^ that’s exactly what I have been thinking before I got tired of it
