I must take this chemistry class this semester. The only one available is a 6 hour course on Saturdays, and I’m pretty apprehensive about taking it. Is it gonna be possible to learn all this information and really soak it in?

I’m planning on taking a 4 hour Art History class on Saturdays this coming Fall. I don’t have class on Fridays or Sundays, so I plan to use those days to either catch up on that class’ assignments, or review from the previous week so it’s not all forgotten. Chem seems like it will take a bit more effort than Art History, so I’d advise against it unless you know you can make dedicated time for extra study or to make up work. Does the 6 hours also include a lab? If so, then it should only be about 4 hours of actual teaching a lesson and then a couple hours of lab time, which would cut down on the actual information you’d have to take in.

If my schedule doesn’t work out so well, however, then that Saturday class will be the first one I drop. Not sure if this is an option for you though (if it’s a requirement yuou have to get out of the way or whatever).

Yes it does include a 3 hour lab so the time splits evenly. I also made my schedule so I don’t have classes Mondays and Wednesdays so I’ll have a chance to catch up on everything. I think it’s do able if I manage my time well.

3 hour class, 3 hour lab, and no class Sunday & Monday? I think it’s doable. Take an extra couple hours Sun and/or Mon to review anything you didn’t pick up right away.
