D told me there will Be no more interviews. If they (meaning any med school) were to replace no shows, they will take off from the wait list.

Yes, interview season is definitely over. Probably has been since very early March since med schools are required to have offered acceptances at least equal to the number of available seats before March 15.
Yep, my school’s MD interviews usually end 1st week of March but many schools love the silent rejection (pretty sure I still have a few schools I’ve yet to get rejected from).
For kids holding wait list offers though, the cycle is far from over.
However, DO schools do it differently. On April 1st, D received a call from CCOM for interview, she did not go, it is 10k/year more expensive and not too much added value.
