IS the ACT hard??would I get a 22?

to me they were the same. The SAT has more time, ACT has easier questions. I got a 1400/1600 SAT and a 32 ACT

OP must be ■■■■■. he posts UHHH after half his sentences

Im a female,
New Jersey
My class rank is 88 out of 155 and I did not take any Honors classes except for Gifted and talented
If I didn’t slack in the beginning of senior year, I am sure I could have gotten up to 3.3 at least
I have ben admitted into College of St Elizabeth with a scholarship I applied to William Paterson and been put on hold so now I am waiting to hear from them again with my ACT scores
I really don’t to go to Bergen community College

and I only put UHH because I was mad, I am not a a ■■■■■…

OP don’t kisten to pleasehelp01, he’s the true idiot! Haha, he took AP classes and honors and still only got a 17 on the ACT! Haha

well this explains it ;)

How exactly is it possible to get a sixteen? If you answered every single answer the same letter you’d get an 11 or 12. No offense but you’re dumb. I’m not particularly smart (not even top third in my class) and I got a 25 when I was in seventh grade. At that point I wasn’t even in Pre-Algebra.I think you might be aiming too high with all of that college stuff.

I got a 22- and almost there- not to rain on your parade, but unless you registered for the ACT as you did in high school, and took it with other high schoolers, your version of the ACT was a much easier test. I know a kid who took the “ACT” in sixth grade and got a 25.

I am not dumb.
I should have just studied harder and taken this little bit more serious, because I got distracted. If I had studied harder i could have gotten a 21-22

Im sorry but a test taker scoring a 16 on the ACT should be placed in the mentally “deficient” category. I mean come on, did you even get half of the questions right? Should have telephone polled the whole thing, at least that way a 16 would be understandable.

You guys are really mean. A 20 is the national average, yonker. Don’t listen to them. A 16 isn’t that far below a 20. But with a couple practice tests and a quick review through your math textbook, you should be able to hit at least a 19 or 20. And plenty of colleges will accept a 16. Just because it’s not a Tier 1 or 2 school, it doesn’t mean it’s terrible. Furthermore, many colleges don’t even ACCEPT standardized tests… look into those.

@ Alex32 it was the actual ACT (although I didn’t take it with the writing section). I took it in a roomful of high schoolers and a couple of other middle schoolers. It was for the Duke Talent search thing. Why would I take a pretend ACT?

@Almost there - I never accused you of taking one, I was just stating a possibility. Often times, middle schoolers are given a “mock” ACT test. Like a pACT of some sort. But good job. I wish I could have gotten a 25 when I was 13. Haha.
