hi i was wondering is the act hard??i took the sat twice already but i need to get a higher score i have a 1200/2400
i was looking at the format and its different, they have so many questions with not that much time
is the act math kind of like the sat math?i was looking over it it kinda looked the same(the geometry question) the algebra questions looked sort of easy I could do those. What about the rest of the math question?like trig and stuff?and oh yeah the science part the last time i had science was junior, soph, and freshmen year this year(senior year) didnt have a science . I was looking and it says you dont need to study you just have to know and learn how to use graphs and charts and the english section in easy right?its pretty much like the SAT english section?and oH Yeah how is the essay?is it hard or basically the same essay and format as the sat?oh and is it true that the way the ACT is scored is they don’t mark points off for wrong or guesses answers?so is there any way I can get a 22 on my ACT??Im studying this whole month(or trying to)taking it April 9 so yeahhh

22 is extremely easy to get. But with this kind of attitude it is hard, I should say. You need perseverance, not just I will try to. Sorry.

What i meant to say is Im am tryng and i will but i get distracted but yeahh i need to concentrate

Brah, it’s time fo you to step up to the plate. Get 'em distractions outta here yo.

i got a 16:[

Well, with that attitude you were bound to get a low score :(. Maybe next time you should study and practice more.

I think ACT math is a little easier than SAT, probably because it is more straight forward. Just study hard. I used ePrep but you could do well with just one of the books, I think.

With that score, you should probably work on “Do you want fries with that?”

@mtv22 - That’s harsh. I only say that because I received a 17…yes a 17.

But the insult is appropriate because the OP is clearly an idiot.

I’m disgusted that I got almost the same score as someone who can’t even type.

Do you not know the spacebar?

Two Words: Princeton Review

im not an idiot i have a 3.1642 gpa my class rank is 88/155
yeah I should have studied harder
this was my last chance UHHHH
may 1 is almost here

oh AND i had princeton review and kaplan i should have studied harder uhhhh

Big deal. That’s a terrible GPA, and a terrible class rank too.

It’s disgusting how rude some of you are. His class rank/GPA is pretty decent, especially if it’s an unweighted GPA. He’s not an idiot.

OP, ignore all of these mean comments. Study harder next time, or look for colleges that are test-optional or something. Test scores really don’t matter as much as some people on CC think they do.

Disregard pleasehelp01, he’s a ■■■■■. I don’t know, you started the test process too late. I’m not sure what choices you have unless your local community college will accept a 16 … The national average is a 21 … I really don’t know what to tell you.

Actually, I wish I was a ■■■■■ at this point. Sad thing is, I’m not…

decent classrank?? I believe that would be um…bottom half?!
And the act says I can’t do math!!

Well if we’re going by arbitrary rankings to measure someone’s intelligence, then OP is as smart as you - he did get a very similar ACT score.

I have a 3.7 gpa and a top quarter ranking. I also have the ability to type.

I think I’m winning a bit…

Sat is easier and I got into good schools with hohum math. Do the sat

^the SAT is NOT easier - then again, that’s subjective, but I still don’t think the SAT is easier.
