I was admitted to UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering to study aerospace engineering. I saw the required non?major courses such as writing and American History and got worried. I am international student and I have never taken American History. I want to focus on my major. Will it be a hard course for an international??

Regardless of major, every university requires its students to take courses beyond those in their major. Plenty of internationals take courses in American history. The depth that classes in the history department go into is far beyond what the average incoming student knows. You’re all basically on a level playing field.
