Is the flu outbreak cases decreasing?

I live in NJ and it seems that I hear less and less about any new cases of flu. Has anyone else experienced this in their area?

Might be interesting to post your area and what you are hearing…

I saw a national news article on new cases dropping quite a bit - last week or the week before.

[Current Flu Season | Flu.gov](<a href=“Influenza (Flu) | CDC”>Influenza (Flu) | CDC)

Pretty cool map of the US that shows flu activity in each state and lets you page back week by week… you can see that activity is declining.

Oh, I am in PA and seem to have gotten the flu, even though I got a flu shot at the beginning of the season. I can only imagine that if I hadn’t gotten the shot, I might be even more uncomfortable.

It’s definitely on the decline here. Ours peaked the week of Jan. 12 and has been going down since. My D only knows one person at college who got the flu. I’m relieved to hear that.
