Is the GPA raise worth it?

Just wanting some opinions.
So by the end of the Spring, I will have a predicted GPA of 3.80 but if I take another math class, that’s not required but recommended, I can bump it to 3.82. For my major (according to UCLA), the average for last year was a 3.7. Is it worth taking that extra class? If I don’t take the extra class, I think I can try to fit in paid tutoring for a few hours a week. But it’ll be at Spring, so I don’t know how much it’ll help.

By spring they will have already decided and will be basing on fall GPA. However, if it means you can eliminate a course at UCLA it’s worth considering, although making extra money is good too. I would say the higher the GPA the higher chance of a scholarship, but by June, scholarships will have all been decided and the difference between 3.8 and 3.82 is negligable anyway.

Okay, thanks!
