<p>I’m going to take the Physics Bowl held by AAPT in the next year to make myself look better in college admission. But I don’t know how important being top ten scorer or achieving high score in the competition will be regarded in admission. As you know, this is a minor competition and looks far less prestigious and easier than Physics Olympiad. So, I don’t think that, if I become a top ten scorer by getting more than about 34 points in the exam, it will be impressive in admission of prestigious university such as Stanford. Needless to say, being a finalist in Physics Olympiad or U.S. representative for IPO is so impressive. Actually, I’m aiming to attend IPO next year. But because I don’t have any impressive status now, as a safety measure for the possible failure in Physics Olympiad, I’m thinking to take Physics Bowl. </p>
