<p>What do you do when an essay asks if that specific college is the best place for you? My parents have suggested looking on the school’s website for specific professors and/or programs which I would be interested and going into these, but that seems kind of artificial…</p>
<p>So, why do you want to go to ***? Is it because there’s a major there you like? It’s got the best <pick a=“” sports=“” program=“”> in the world? You went on the college tour, and you loved the way everyone was talking about <politics the=“” concert=“” last=“” week=“” their=“” art=“” project=“”>?</politics></pick></p>
<p>If you’re applying, I hope there’s some reason why you like the place. Try to talk about it. </p>
<p>Poking around the website might give you some specific details - is there a course or a curriculum that sounds appealing. Does the place have some tradition you find appealing.</p>
<p>One hint: avoid answers like
“*** is the closest school to the beach, the parties are awesome, and I hear the classes are really easy to pass.”</p>
<p>BTW, you don’t have to say the place is the BEST, you just have to say why you find it appealing.</p>
