Is the Point Increase Worth a 3rd Try at the SATs?

Okay, so here’s a quick breakdown on my SAT scores:

March SAT: 550 CR, 580 Math, 480 Writing (1610 Total) [No study]
June SAT: 550 CR, 690 Math, 650 Writing (1890 Total) [1 week worth of studying]

Overall I went up 280 points, and I’m not sure if I should retake the SATs for a 3rd time. The extra week of studying seemed to have helped me in math and writing quite a bit, but for some reason, my CR didn’t move at all. I’m going to have a fairly busy schedule next year, since I’m planning on taking 4 APs with extra-curriculars in between. I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about how the June SATs’ curve was much harsher than normal, and how most people actually performed worse than normal. (I kinda believe it too, because I got in the top 90% with a 650 in Writing somehow) I seemed to have quite a bit of a jump, and I’m not sure if I should just count my blessings and call it quits and try and go for ACTs instead. I scored a 29 on ACTs first time without studying and I haven’t gone for a second try yet. So, do you guys think it’s worth crowding up my schedule even more to study for SATs and retake them along with ACTs, or should I just focus on ACTs and keep the 1890 for SATs?
