Is the princton review course helpful ??

Hi
Iam an international student and I took the SAT once and got :
630 math
420 writing
390 CR
I think in math I can get an 800 next time , but my problem is English since I'm not a native speaker .
I need to raise my score by 500 points at least .
I found a princton review centre in my city that offers preperation courses , will it be helpful for me ??
Also , do you think I should get the blue book ?? i allready have the barron's book , should I get both ??
Thnx alot for your help (;

Hey, I’m an international student and a non-native english speaker as well! And I already took the Princeton Review course. To be honest, if you don’t know where or how to start studying for the SAT, take it. It helps you get more comfortable with the test and builds your confidence along with basic tricks for each section.

Princeton’s really good at boosting math scores. And as for W and CR, they’ll help you up by like 50-60 points. But you won’t get much out of it unless you actually do the homework, study the vocabs and review the contents in the books they made you buy.

If you’re thinking of taking PR. Then don’t buy the blue book just yet. They’ll make you buy the Blue book and the Princeton Review book.

On a personal note, if CR’s your big problem. READ, READ, READ really hard material one after another.

Thank you very much that was very useful . I think based on your advice I’ll take the course , but I’m thinking about taking only CR and W , cuz I have no idea how to prepare for CR and W , and also I don’t need math as I said before .
I actually got alot of novels to read them in the summer , i hope they turn out to be useful .
Anyway , thnx again (;
Best of luck
