Is the rumor true?

I’m a freshman at the Singapore American School (which, by the way, is an insanely competitive high school), and so far my first semester grades are as follows:

English 9: B+ (89%) [this is the one I’m concerned about]
Molecular Biology: A- (91%)
Western Civilization: A (92%)
Geometry: A (95%)
Algebra II/Trigonometry: A (97%)
Spanish III: A (93%)
Aquatics: A- (90%)

** denotes an honors course.

I know that compared to many students, these are awesome grades, but I recently heard that a senior at my school got deferred from the college of his choice because he had a B+ in his freshman year. I doubt that this rumor is true, but I’d still like to make sure anyway. Is it possible that such a thing would happen?

No way was one measly B+ the reason behind his deferral. Rumor.

no 10 char

Alright, thanks. Boy, I sure got scared for a moment.

You’re worried about a B+ as a freshman? Whats happening to this world?

yo u go to sas i have friends there im at the american school in japan

Well, you also have a couple of A minuses…kidding, kidding.

Besides, no one really knows why he/she gets deferred from any school.
