Is the SAT Writing Curve normally this brutal?

<p>On the Jan SAT, I got 36 right and 13 wrong on the MC section of the Writing. I had 0 omits and an 8 essay. Based on my PR book, this would equate to a score of 610-650 but I ended up getting a 560. What happened?</p>

<p>Jan was one of the most lenient Writing curves ever… I suggest throwing away your PR and getting a Blue Book.</p>

<p>It was just slightly more lenient than average – certainly not one of the most lenient ever.</p>
