Looking through CollegeBoards website, it seems like the number of kids that get a 2400 is increasing a lot (last year, it was 583!) almost twice as the year before! Will there be even more 2400’s this year?!

And as a percentage to total, it is infinitesimal, so no, the value is not decreasing

At the same time, however, 2300+ scores are seen around the same as 2400 scores, so the value of a 2400 is equivalent to that of any other 2300+ score.

With the new SAT coming out im sure the number of 2400s will increase

It is to your parents: it gives them bragging rights, and in some cultures a higher social status.

The value of a single sitting 2400 is decreasing because so many colleges now superscore and don’t care how u got the high score just so long as they can report the “photoshopped” superscores to USNWR.
