Is "The Voice" Your New Vice?

When Gwen performs I find myself wondering if she’s under the influencers something.

I think my D used to have cloud pajamas like that.

My prediction for bottom 4. Ryan, Danica, luke, Taylor James.

Matt is fabulous. Taylor John did a great version of Royals.

Wow, Matt blew me away. Fantastic. He’d better win!

I had never heard that song by Matt before. Haunting. I now would like him in a two-man race with Craig.

eyemamom, I agree with your bottom four. Not sure which one will be saved, though. Does Ryan have another life?

I had never heard Matt’s song before, and I was completely entranced. Wow. Can’t wait to see what he does next. :)

Didn’t think anyone could be worse than Iggy Azalea. Gwen made me change my mind! That duo was pathetic in all respects.

I thought Matt blew everyone away tonight. I’m sure CWB is fine but I just have no interest in country music and I thought his performance tonight was very middle of the road. I just don’t find him to be interesting. Liked Damien better tonight and would place him over CWB even though I’m not a fan of the song he sang.

Here is a cute behind the scenes type video. The guys seem to really enjoy each other. “Uncle Craig” and “Little Brother Ryan” work out together. <a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube;

I thought Damien did a fantastic job. Haven’t heard Matt yet.

Gwen and Pharell… Awful.

I think Ryan, DaNica, and Luke don’t make the semi-finals. The one “surprise”, who may be on the bubble, is Damien. I thought Taylor was really solid tonight. Still think Craig and Matt are the class of the field, too close to call, who wins and who the runner-up is of the two. Matt had the performance of the night and maybe the season. The song he sang was familiar to me, but only because I saw the movie that the song was played in. If anyone could remind me of the name of the movie, I would be ever so grateful!

Jshain, you didn’t like Damien?

I liked Matt, Taylor and Damien.

Agree on the bottom 3.

According to Google, The Blower’s Daughter was from the movie Closer (2004).

I thought Damien was really good but choosing an Adele song was risky, imo.

I believe the movie that had the soundtrack “Blower’s Daughter” by Damien Rice was called “Closer” with Natalie Portman. Matt really performed it flawlessly.

I enjoyed the night’s performances, with the exception of Danica, who is much better than she presented tonight, and Luke. I don’t care for Luke’s style, so I wouldn’t mind seeing him go home tomorrow.
I loved Taylor’s performance. I felt it was the best of the night. I almost feel that he’s channeling John Lennon or someone from that era with a modern twist, and I really enjoy the quality of his voice.
I’ll be sorry to see Danica go, but she probably will. I don’t think she has grown much this season- at least not when compared to Craig or even Ryan.
My feeling is Luke and Danica will go home. I can’t imagine who the third will be. I have a feeling it won’t be Ryan. I don’t think he’ll be in the bottom three- but that leaves Damien, and I thought he had a good night.

Ok… I just ckecked itunes. Matt is 3. Damien is 11. Taylor is 13. Craig is 14. Chris is 19.

I wonder what the record is for most voice contestants in the top 10 after a show.

We could see 5 make the top 10.

I’m ready to say goodbye to Ryan and Luke and Danica.

Matt crushed it…he will be in the top two for sure.

Damien almost pulled off Someone Like You but I think he let the song overtake him a little…too much falsetto. But then, I love that song so much it’s hard to embrace any other version but Adele’s.

That was the problem. Nobody should even try to sing an Adele song. Damien has a beautiful voice, but he did not do that song justice.

I agree with someone above that Craig is just not my style, too country, too old school. I thought Taylor was better than he was tonight. But, Matt, was by far, the best.
