The right folks went thru, and Ryan was the appropriate save. I agree that Anita must not have heard herself as there were several bad notes, especially the long loud note at the end. Reagen was going in a strange direction, and unfortunately it also showed some weaknesses in her vocal development. Being only 16, she should go off and mature and get some life experiences for a couple of years.

So Blake is down to one singer? Of course, that singer could win. :)

Hard to argue with results. It took darn awful performances to save Ryan and the girls delivered. Anita was just as bad in the past weeks with horrendous songs. She might have done better with soft songs and a low key image but she just did not have much talent. Reagan cracked tonight.

It will take a small miracle for Gwen to stick around after next week.

Taylor Swift is a star!

Taylor Swift must have a terrific publicist. She’s everywhere! I’ve always liked her personality, even if her singing requires auto-tuning. And her fashion style. I love everything she wears. Very classy dresser.

Can someone tell me how the show goes from here? So next week, 2 will go home that will leave 4? What was that calling back those who got voted off to come back and tried to win one spot in the last 4? Will there be a save from the live show next week? Thanks.

That’s exactly what I said to my husband. She was much worse than usual. Poor girl! I hope that wasn’t “scripted”.

Craig Wayne was great again, but I always think of Take it Easy as a Jackson Browne song, not The Eagles. I love Jackson Browne. :)

I’m waiting for the show to begin out here on the west coast but I am beginning to think it is a two-horse race between Craig Wayne Boyd (Team Blake) and Matt McAndrew (Team Adam). I think CWB has been the most consistent week to week.

Can anyone answer Hopeful820’s questions in post #1985?

i just heard Matt, and thought he was good. coaches too syrupy.

Matt? I must have missed that. The last one was Damien. They are saying 3 will go home this week. Not sure what will happen next week.

So far, everyone has done well. With three being eliminated, someone good is bound to be cut.
Whether CWB wins or not, his career is set.

Matt hasn’t performed yet. I thought Damien was great, I was so so on Danica though I get how technical she is I find her boring.

I am watching this show for only the second time this season and already I want Craig to win. Damien was good, too.

And every girls parents are stroking out listening to chris…lol

I meant every girls parents he ever dated. …

I am grumpy because it’s the last regular week of my semester and my MIA students are coming out of the woodwork wanting to drop their classes/get extra credit/have me show other forms of mercy (none of which is going to happen). Anyway, listening while posting grades and I think I’ve had a major triumph in not throwing something at the tv when Blake gushed on about it being the best season ever, blah, blah, blah… He’s had too much vodka in the cup. I am sick of the gushing and would stop watching if I wasn’t interested in seeing how Craig does.

I’m sorry, but Chris is no Marvin Gaye. (And even Marvin could barely get away with that one. )Did I mis-hear, or did DaNica say that the Heart song wasn’t something she could let her kids listen to? I didn’t understand that at all. The song was well chose for her, but she didn’t take full advantage of it IMHO. I was also not thrilled with Damien’s version of Adele. Luke was good, as usual.

Coaches are syrupy to a fault, but Blake was right. It is Craig’s competition to lose. He is running away with it, and Blake can play it safe while all the others are stumbling or having to take risks. This is Danielle all over again.

Gwen needs to go sit down…this is awful
