<p>I think that many of these contestants have good careers in front of them, with plenty of recording contracts. The top four, Luke, maybe Taylor John, and definitely DaNica.</p>

<p>We all have our favorite sounds and genres. Josh Krajcik doesn’t appeal to me at all. HIs voice sounds like he’s smoked way too many cigarettes and that damaged sound is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I’m not a fan of the growl. That’s why I was no fan of Sugar Jones. I can take Bob Seger in small doses but that style wears on me. </p>
<p>Wow - just heard a really interesting singer/songwriter on Jimmy Kimmel- George Ezra. New to me. </p>
<p>I’m with cartera on that one. The rough voice wears thin pretty fast, though I can see how some people would like the style. Plus, he looks awfully rough…not that I care much about that, but a shower would be nice. Also why I didn’t care for Sugar. She used that growl far too often.</p>
<p>George Ezra’s Budapest is his first big hit I believe. He is someone who I pictured to look different than what vision I painted by listening to his voice. </p>

So what did everyone think? S was watching with me and I kept insisting when they showed teases that the artist in the bowler hat was a young woman. S kept saying “I don’t think so.” He got to “boo yah” me when it proved to be a 15 year old boy. I thought Christina looked really good. Her hair looked pretty and I like her when she is covered up instead of falling out of her tops.
