Starting with an Elton melody. This sure is not so you think you can dance.
The group songs seem better this year. Guests tonight are Mark Ronson, some country dude, the guy that wrote halo, and some eurythmics guy.
I thought the Elton melody was weak, especially from the girls. I think Elton John songs are deceptively difficult.
Kimberly up first singing etta james…somethings got a hold of me. If they insist on climbing the stairs to nowhere im glad she stepped down sideways. I usually hold my breath waiting for them to slip.
I thought Kimberly gave a great performance.

Kimberly was good, but parts of that opening number were just awful. The girl who was saved last week should be departing soon, IMO.

For the Voice, to say in the bird genre, it should be the swan song for the ones who were on the bottom last week. Predicted without having heard a note.

Is it my tv sound system or is the sound mixing weird on this show sometimes?
I know some of you like him but I think Joshua is just dull. I also did not like his song selection tonight. Such a repetitious song.
What did Joshua sing?
I am a Josh fan but didn’t love that song and splat…Adam threw him under the bus. is Adam tired of putting in the hour or so mentoring and marking time for the season to be over?

@eyemamom - Yes, we were having sound issues, too. My husband made me check other channels and it was definitely just on The Voice.
The sound system in this hotel is terrible. At least I’m blaming it on the television. Having a hard time hearing anyone sound good. The group numbers were weak, especially the first one, ugh. Kimberly was entertaining, but she has something in her voice that is irritating, clownish. I don’t know if it’s a whine or a growl, or over the top, or how to describe it, but I don’t like it. Joshua didn’t sound as great as usual to me, that was a terrible song choice.
There’s got to be someone who sounds good on this tv, here!

Hannah got better as the song progressed. Thought the beginning was pretty rough.
Agreed…remember the Thompson twins? The world’s most monotone singers? She sounded like that at first but really kicked it up.
Humm, I must have become a broken record on this issue, but I still have no idea why ANYONE would pick Adam for a coach. To Joshua’s credit, he got stolen from Team Blake and must be thrilled to have had a second chance.

Is Adam still hoping for Joshua to discover a working falsetto? The poor guy’s hope is that people will vote on what they think they heard as opposed to what the performances have been.
