Maybe that wine really does make people sound better.
Agree with so many previous posts:
Joshua is good, but boring to me. Hannah in a drum major outfit. Meghan looked soooo much better. Opening number was particularly bad for the girls.
Kimberly, Koryn and Meghan were strong. Rob and Deanna should be going home. Joshua might be bottom three. And still two left to sing…
getting through my feed in bits and pieces. Kim in the death spot was true to herself. Nothing remarkable and probably not a iTunes top 10 unless people listen more to Pharrell than to their ears. Still pretty good for this backup singers. Grandma in Mike and Molly could sing that song better, but people seem to like her. I don’t!
Moving to the interesting segment. Adam needs to be bold after letting Joshua commit seppuku by exposing ONE MORE time his very limited range. Adam would have Paul Simon try a hard rock song. Joshua was a disaster --predictable IMHO – but Deanna was even worse.
I missed a couple of songs so far but Adam should have another sweaty night in the elimination segment. Both of his guys will need a divine intervention to be saved. Maybe that is why he played the religious theme so hard in previous weeks.
That Shout song was an annoying mess.
By the way someone here might dislike my choice of best performance of the night (so far) …
Corey - no vocal powerhouse but entertaining and his looks and charm will continue to get him the votes.
Agree about Corey. He’s the sexiest male left on the show. lol
Xiggi, since when are you so shy?
India and Sawyer are left… Nice.
Ugh. I’ve been a big Sawyer fan since the beginning but…not a good night for him, although he got a little better as the song progressed. He did not look comfortable singing that song, a departure from his usual demeanor.
The strings sounded good, though.
Song theme of the night: repetitious lyrics.
Ok… That means India was given the prime spot. She should be good.
I liked Sawyer, again. What o you think he’d look like without that hair/hat?
India to sing Whitney Houston.
I wondered the same about Sawyer and the hat. He reminds me a lot of John Denver. He should sing ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’ next week.
I thought India did really well. However, I couldn’t help but wonder if Koryn had sang that song, it might have been even more powerful. Would be interesting to see a matchup between those two ladies.
India was fantastic, IMO. She’s back!!!
For the girls that should not be in danger, Koryn easily upended India who tried a challenging song. India will be safe for another week. Koryn is a shoo-in. After all, there is enough voice fodder to send home for a couple of weeks.
I thought India was great!
Okay, going home is Deanna, but then I don’t know my next pick. Maybe cutie with the blue eyes with a limited range. Not a big fan of country boy, but I think tweenies still like him.
My favorites: Koryn, Kimberly, Meagan, India, Sawyer.
Xiggi, Koryn was great!
That wasn’t too much screaming for you?
I thought India was awesome too.
Yes, Koryn was great and tied Meghan for performance of the night. Kim was true to herself but Etta should cringe. Sorry but India started poorly and butchered the end of the song. The middle was better. Few people can do Whitney Houston justice and this one did hardly come close. No Jack Vidgen here. The Broadway guys must have experience with poor auditions. They had this one right. I did not care for Janet Jackson.
Sawyer has definitely plateaued in the past two weeks, but he still sells the hat on old soul stick. Did not care for Rob but he still outdid Joshua whose wheels are boringly falling off as I predicted. Contrary to CWB oldie’s act, Joshua has little versatility and poor abilities in the lower and higher ranges. Eye candy for SAHM moms perhaps, but his fate is sealed as his leggy teammate is. The Cher fest was horrendous. She will leave the show after skating on Adam’s thin ice.
Bottom four should come from Adam’s and Blake’s teams. Since I doubt the producers would allow Adam to be blanked this early I think Hannah and Deanna are biting the dust. Joshua could be lucky. I am not sure how many are eliminated next week but the bottom 5 of this group are pretty clear by now.
Wow! Joshua sang as well as I can and I can’t sing.
Not good.
If Itunes is any indication…Hannah is not going home.
The top 5 Voice participants…
Koryn, Sawyer, Meghan, Hannah, India…with the first three far ahead and Koryn way ahead of everybody except Sawyer.
