That seemed like a pretty easy choice. Chance has got such a weird vibrato and he’s gasping for breath. I can’t imagine that’s a healthy technique that he can sustain.

I agree about Victor. I think Adam’s setting one of his other team members up to win. He’s done this before.
I think that Amy’s a star who just needs the exposure the show offers. Madi sang one of my favorite songs, and did so incredibly well, but I don’t think she is as likely to make it professionally. If he had taken Amy, no one would have stolen Madi.
Chance made a very poor song choice for his voice. I was really hoping that Rihanna would give Ivonne some major style points, since that’s about all she has to offer. Apparently not.
I’m trying to imagine Jordan making it professionally and failing. Viktor is great.
Unlike last season when Sawyer seemed to be the clear front runner, this season seems to be a lot more wide open-- at least for now:
Little Mr. Sunshine got “all F’s”. He was fearless, flawless, focused, and formidable. I’m wondering if he also plays the piano, in addition to his guitar, which he played during his blind audition? Great call on the hair makeover. Felt bad for Ellie and agree with Consolation. Terrible song choice. I was uncomfortable watching her throughout her performance. Not worthy of a steal tonight.
I love Amy. She does seem to lack confidence but I think she will do really well when the iTunes downloads/rankings come into play.
Madi had a good night but is she marketable?
Viktor is incredible. Adam’s loss is Gwen’s gain. With Little Mr. Sunshine (Braiden) and now Viktor, Gwen has two possible contenders.
My top-5 is in shambles. After tomorrow night, I might have at least two new additions. Maybe three.
My top five are all holding steady, since I lost Lindsey and added Victor. But that might change tomorrow.
Also, I had the benefit of starting late.
Just not that attached to anyone this season. There’s a lot of talent, though.
I lost Sydney Rhame and replaced her with Jordan last week. My other 4 that I’ve had from the start are:

I suppose that really isn’t “shambles”, it’s just that I don’t have a good sense of who Chris, James, and Shelby are yet and I loved Braiden and Viktor last night but they are not in my top-5 at the moment. Also, Amy was not overly impressive last night-- IMO. Tonight should be interesting since 3 of my top-5 will be performing tonight.
I thought Rihanna did a respectable job as the guest mentor on Monday and look forward to her input with the remaining group tonight.
So, my ‘peeps’ out there watching? I think Gwen made the (obvious) right choice with Korin.
Not on here out west but I am really liking Korin Bukowski. Gwen has got some people who could go far in Braiden, Viktor and now Korin, who just might be the strongest indie singer of all.
Wasn’t aware that night 2 of the Knockout Round would only be a one hour show, starting at 9 PST. Guess myself and others will have to wait until next week to hear the rest of their team compete. Only 1 steal remains and it belongs to Pharrell.
I liked but didn’t love Korin’s song choice and performance. It was nice to finally see her eyes.
Eyemamom, props to you for going with Morgan. She really nailed it tonight. Great song choice and performance. She deserved to get another chance. Thought she had the better performance against Darius. Strange pairing to say the least. I thought she had the best performance of the night.
I was nervous for my girl when I heard darius sing. I thought Blake made a mistake letting her go originally.
I still have 3 more to perform, chris, Evan and shelby. I don’t know who I’ll sub in any of my 3 don’t make it through. I don’t think there is a single, it contestant is in the group.
It seems to me that they’re getting more legit training now. The guest coaches…Taylor Swift and Rihanna both surprised me in a good way how they critiqued and helped each person. Adam seemed like he had no clue how to help his team sing better.
