@toledo , I’m guessing part of what was deleted was the reference to who the D was singing with. Maybe your post can be deleted as well?
Finally got to watch the semifinal elimination on Hulu over the weekend. It was tough seeing 3 of my top-5-- Jeffery, Madi, and Zach-- all singing for the save. After watching Jeffery’s performance I quickly realized that it probably didn’t make any difference if Madi performed well or not. Neither Madi or Zach would beat Jeffery’s performance of Make It Rain. That was a brilliant performance and great strategy to save that one if it was needed. I’m really glad that Jeffery reminded everyone that he had only gotten a 1-chair-turn during the blind auditions. It was during episode 3, smack dab in the middle of the 5 blinds in all portion of the season. I thought Dolly Parton was awesome. Loved every minute she was on camera. I hope everyone has their best performance during tonight’s finals.
I’d like to dedicate this season to xiggi. I’ve missed him as I’m sure many of you have. Some of you have already expressed this in earlier postings. Hope you’re doing well xiggi! If anyone would like to send him well-wishes, feel free to keep them coming…
I’m going to miss tonight’s show so I am expecting a blow-by-blow from y’all.

It’s on right now. Started at 8 EST. Jordan on now. Doing fine but not as good as some of his other performances.
Did Adam pick Jordan’s song? I’m worried about iTune votes. Jordan was good, though. I saw one cute, long-haired girl on the far right. That was the only young girl I could see.
Missing Xiggi as well. I am letting the DVR tape it so I can speed through the commercials. Will start watching at 8 central time.
Does anyone like Jason Isbell? I am so obsessed with his music right now.
I thought Jordan was great, but I’ve always liked him since Day 1.
Emily Ann, on the other hand, hurts my ears. I felt like I was watching a high school talent show tonight - flat in parts, ear piercing at times, nasally. I think she’s only still on because a) she’s the most attractive female left and b) the country music fan vote.
I wasn’t that crazy about either Jordan or Emily Ann so far. But I love Climb Every Mountain, just didn’t care all that much for his interpretation (but that’s just me-I know he’s a great singer). Emily Ann just sounded off.
I wasn’t impressed with Emily Ann either. I like Barrett, and I like this song with him and Blake.
Did Barret need Blake’s help?
They are all going to do a duet with their coach.

I would be equally happy if either Jordan or Jeffery won. They are each singing multiple songs tonight, right (not counting performances with their coach)?

Toledo, you were right … Far right (stage left?) was my girl as part of the chorus on Jordan’s first song. She just texted that it was super fun and they styled her hair and did her makeup. Dad and I watched twice already.

Barrett was better than last week’s train wreck. Just ok, IMO.
