I was thinking if Andy grammar couldn’t help his wife get it going she really didn’t have what it takes. I predict trouble ahead if she can’t accept her husbands success, though I totally get how hard it would be to be married to someone famous in the career you wanted to do too.
Andy Grammer’s wife sabotaged her audition. Why in the world would you pick a Christina Aguilera song?
I missed the beginning.
Last Tuesday was a let down, but this evening is coming back strong.
Not liking the girl that sand Stevie Nicks. Not impressed.
They save the best for last. “Can’t find my way home”. Yes they did. Great Clapton/Winwood. Love that song.
That guy was awesome!
I don’t think he’s going to be singing at BBQ joints any more! http://www.syracuse.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2016/02/cny_ryan_quinn_the_voice_season_10_video.html
He sure was!!! Love it
Yes, agree that Andy Grammer’s wife may have a challenging road ahead. If she hasn’t made it now despite her husband’s connections and network, something else is going on. She was talented, but for the song she picked she didn’t have the right voice. Bad artistic move.
Agree about the song choice that Aijia Grammer chose but also didn’t think she had anything special going on vocally.
So far for me night 1 of the blinds has been by far the strongest, followed by night 3 (last night). In total agreement about Ryan Quinn. My team, at this early stage of the season (current coach):
Ryan Quinn (Adam)
Mary Sarah (Blake)
Alisan Porter (Christina)
Caity Peters (Pharrell)
Emily Keener (Pharrell)
Also really like:
Mike Schiavo (Adam)
Peyton Parker (Blake)
How is tonight’s show going so far?
Some interesting stories and the talent is good as well. Much better than last Tuesday’s show which I suspect was a preponderance of weak performances grouped together because viewership may have been down due to Super Tuesday. You’ll enjoy this one:)
I like everyone I’ve heard tonight.
Fun Christina duet
Loved it. She’s got some pipes!
Agree with you all… great show on Tuesday! Might have been some of the best 0, 1, or 2 chair turn performances ever seen on the show. The duet with Christina and Joe Maye WAS awesome.
Edit: Got to find a spot for folk singer Owen Danoff in my top-5.
I loved the Christina duet, but I think Owen was my favorite from last night.
Which one was Owen? The one whose dad was in a band? I don’t know how anyone can tell favorites at this point. It’s overwhelming to me.
Do you really think that Christina duet was impromptu? If so, it was amazing.
I think the whole thing is scammy. Why did they just happen to ask Owen about his dad and his band? It’s a setup.
