Anyone playing along with the app? My 5 so far are Allisyn, Jessica, Ryan, Moushima sp?, and Peyton.
eyemamom, My top-5 are: Emily, Mary, Owen, Alisan, and Ryan. Hope others will also be playing!
The Bryan and Malik duet is currently ranked #128 on iTunes.
My team is currently Ryan, Alisan, Owen, Peyton, and Maya, but some of them are very tenuous, and there are great people not on it.
My team is not set in stone. Ryan may get the boot, I didn’t think he did all that great last night. I also like the others on your teams. I think Moushima and Jessica are also on thin ice with me.
I’d keep Ryan if I were you. If he makes it out of the knockout round, I think he’ll do well with the iTunes rankings assuming good song choices. I’m keeping him on my team…
I don’t like country music. Sorry. Just dont
Well jym… country crooners do well on the show but I’m sure you have lots of company.
Yes they do. I was hoping to come around to liking it. I am still waiting…
That said, I do like (in a somewhat twisted way) “I’m going to hire a wino to decorate our home”. And “there’s just two things money can’t buy… That’s true love and homegrown tomatoes”.

I feel like there is too much screeching tonight as opposed to singing.
I’m also noticing that the girl from England turns her accent on and off when it seems to give her an advantage , I’m not talking about when she’s singing.
Generally, I don’t like country, but that country song may have been the best of the evening. I thought the song choices were really lame tonight.
I haven’t paid much attention tonight, but doesn’t seem as good as last night.
Agree with toledo about the song choices. Kind of ruined most of the battles for me.
I really like Tamar Davis and her vocal ability, although she had an “off-night” compared to her blind audition IMO. Glad Christina kept her, thought she deserved it, and also respected Christina’s decision to keep a 35-year-old over the 15-year-old, even though the younger singer has a bigger upside at this stage of their respective singing careers. If you don’t remember Tamar’s backstory, she was in the “pre-Destiny’s Child” group when it was first getting started.
Thought Pharrell made the right decision keeping Hannah Huston over Maya but was glad Maya got a save.
I thought Kata’s singing was awful last night. I can’t believe she was the winner.
Chelsea may have a steadier voice, but her stage presence was too stolid. I also was happy that Christina chose Tamar. I liked Maya a lot more during the blinds, where I thought her vocal quality was really fresh, but for now I’m keeping her on my team until I hear more.
Although Sara has a very distinctive voice, I actually preferred the guy. Jon? I also very much like Malik. Not sure that he’s ready, though. Oh well.
The thing I don’t like about the battles is that it is mostly belting.
The thing I don’t like about the battles is that many times it’s completely obvious when they pick a song for one contestant.
Sidebar: Sad that Frank Sinatra Jr cancelled a concert yesterday and then died of a heart attack.
Many times, but in Ryan Quinn’s battle not so much. I do agree, though, that the battle winner is pre-determined by their coach a majority of the time.
A girl from our church won her battle round. Her name is Mary Sarah. She seems too country to win, but I really like her voice!
AllThisIsNewToMe, I’ve got Mary Sarah on my team (top-5)! I love her voice and everything else about her!! She can do country as well as other genres too. Check out her blind audition when she sang “Where The Boys Are”.
