All thru tonight, I’ve been in agreement with the coaches’ decisions. I also think Miley has been surprisingly great.

That was one fierce version of Gypsy. I think that performance by Katie was my favorite so far this season.

I thought Daniel was a little off key. But overall I’ve liked the songs tonight. They like the oldies (aka my genre)

I was sad to see Daniel go, but I knew that he would be leaving when I saw he was paired with Alisan. She is really strong. I still don’t have all the names straight. I liked Owen a lot and was glad to see his “snippet” in the battle round did not mean his days were numbered.
Daniel made such a poor song choice and genre. I see him doing more Michael Buble stuff wearing a tuxedo.
Haven’t been wowed by Paxton yet. Had his eyes shut for almost his entire performance.
I think Lacy would have more career success if she was a country singer rather than a rocker.
Loved Hannah’s performance but not her “Hannah Huston hands”. Find them, and those fingers of hers, to be a little distracting.
Loved Alisan tonight. She is so much better when she uses all that power of hers more sparingly-- like she did tonight.
Loved Emily and liked Owen and Shalyah.
The biggest surprise for me tonight (Monday) was from Katie. I’m surprised that she only barely cracked the top-200 iTunes ranking (currently at #181). Hannah was leading (#47) and Alisan was second (#68), with Katie third when I checked very early this morning.
I’m definitely going to cut Ryan from my team and will wait until after Tuesday night’s knockouts to see who I replace him with.
I think tonight the women were the stars however Tuesday night might be the guys’ turn to shine.
I agree that Daniel chose the entirely wrong song and style. Too bad. I think he has a great voice. I guess I’m in the minority, but I did not love Hannah. And my D said, “Put your hands down!” At first I thought she was doing sign language.

It IS Hannah who used her hands a lot. She is the pre-school teacher and my D said she probably was used to doing hand signs with every kiddie song. lol. I like her voice, though. I think it is Emily whose voice I’m not so sure about.
IMO, tonight was just “meh” until Tamar. They saved the best for last!
