Is "The Voice" Your New Vice?

Didn’t get to watch tonight. I have 812,000 points. Billy and We’ 57 days, Darby 29 and Ali 23.

musicmerit, I’m at 871,000 points after the Tuesday night show. We have the same 2 with Billy and We’ and 2 different, much different! Good luck!!

It wasn’t even close between Sa’Rayah and Aaron. I couldn’t believe Sa’Rayah’s song choice. Too bad, because I’ve liked her in the past.

I’ve got Austin on my team.

Just catching up … hard to watch The Voice when traveling. Somehow I have 682,000 point with Billy and WE at 59 days each.

I agree with the top 3 (Ali, plus my two picks). I also like Sundance and Austin, but also root for Christian and Courtney.

Who’s watching tonight? Only saw one clip of Ali singing 9 to 5. Seemed like a strange/poor song choice to me.

Am watching too! Interesting song choices tonight. I just wish they would stop with the faux praise and give real feedback.

I have not been impressed by anyone tonight.

I just don’t get why Darby is still in this competition . She is the William Hung of The Voice. It is not only painful to listen to , but equally as painful to watch. Ugh!

Oh,geez. Darby, that was excruciating.

My ears are bleeding!

I thought Sundance & Billy were pretty good, though.

@audiophile You beat me to it. I was just about to type that my ears were bleeding.

The outfits and whacked hairdos are really distracting.

I loved Sundance tonight! Kind of a risky song choice but really paid off, IMO. Thought Billy gave another very solid performance and I also thought Aaron had his personal best performance of the season. Really understated and stripped down. The lighting and camera angles just on him were spot-on! Definitely my top 3 so far, but have not heard We’ and Brendan yet…

I also liked Sundance, and surprisingly, my H and I both like Darby a lot. Billy was great, but his voice wasn’t as perfect as it can be, but I liked the emotion that came out tonight for him.

Now waiting for WE’.

Okay! Liked WE also. What a little pip she is. Her and Alicia seem to get along great and it gives WE extra inspiration. Nice team.

I thought both Darby and Courtney were tough to listen to tonight.

Agree, We’ was great. Brendan and Austin had good nights. Courtney and Christian, although not their personal bests, did enough to hopefully stay out of trouble. I am really scratching my head over Ali. Why not choose a song that shows off her amazing vocal ability? She could be in the bottom 2 on Tuesday which could have easily been prevented.

Will post iTunes rankings in the morning.

I thought Courtney had some pitch problems at the beginning of her song, and I’m surprised that the show didn’t credit the song to the Broadway musical “A Chorus Line” from which it came. I was impressed with Ali’s ability to move around, climb stairs, and still sing. And she looked very Tina-ish in that dress. I hope she is safe.

I do not like Darby, but I thought tonight was the best of her terrible performances. Courtney and Darby would be my choices for the bottom two.

It looks like the 10X multiplier might finally come into play this week for Sundance and possibly also Billy. Last week the 2 in the bottom were also the 2 who charted lowest on iTunes-- Aaron and Sa’Rayah. This week, the 2 who are currently ranked the lowest on iTunes are Christian and Ali.

Here are the iTunes rankings as of 7:30 AM Pacific (coach in parenthesis):

Sundance, No One, #9, (Blake)
Billy, All I Ask, #11, (Adam)
We’, Love On The Brain, #35, (Alicia)
Aaron, Hurt, #40, (Miley)
Brendan, The River, #43, (Adam)
Austin, Turn The Page, #45, (Blake)
Darby, You Don’t Own Me, #49, (Miley)
Courtney, What I Did For Love, #72, (Blake)
Josh, Drunk On Your Love, #86, (Adam)
Christian, Rosanna, #110, (Alicia)
Ali not in the top-200 at this time
