I just voted to save Ali and it said thanks for voting even though all season long it said “no Twitter account configured”. I lost Brendan who I thought was in top-10. I have 1,600,000 points.
So who got through besides Sundance and Billy?
ETA: Nevermind, found it elsewhere. Disappointing, but it could have been much worse.
I’m not a fan of Billy or Sundance, mainly because I don’t see them ever singing anything I would find interesting. Their song choices have been so boring. Billy’s singing style hasn’t changed much since he was a kid singer. He just has bigger notes now. We has been my favorite from the beginning.
We is a good stage performer, as well as a great singer. I really liked the piece she performed on Monday. As someone remarked, it was like going to her concert in the future.
I like Sundance a lot, but I like that kind of music. He has an overdrive gear in his voice that is something special.
When I heard We, I felt the way I did when I first heard Tracy Chapman. I don’t think she has done a Chapman song. Would love to hear her do Baby Can I Hold You or Talking About a Revolution or She’s Got Her Ticket or pretty much any Chapman song.
Ali sang the other two off the stage. What a shame.
Has anyone here besides me ever heard Joan Armatrading? I actually heard her at Carnegie Hall.

I always loved Joan Armatrading although I’ve never seen her live. We is a cross between Joan Armatrading and Tracy Chapman. Two of my favorites.
I think this season was very lackluster. Alicia Keys was an awful judge with jibber jabber commentary and Miley had no clue how to choose contestants and choose songs for them.
3 of my 5 are still in it…not that they were my favorites, I just try and pick who I think will win. My 3 left are sundance, we and Billy.
Jordan Smith has a Pandora Christmas channel that I like.
Well, I totally disagree, eyemamom. 
I loved both Alicia and Miley as coaches and commentators.
But then Jordan Smith is not a singer I’d listen to.

I have been disappointed by We in the later episodes. She was so amazing and flawless in the earlier ones, and now it sounds erratic, and as if she is missing some notes. Hard to go from perfect to…not perfect.
I agree with eyemamom about Miley’s song choices as it related to Ali. Thought Aaron’s choices were okay. I think that newbie coaches Alicia and Miley didn’t do as much with their “aces”, We’ and Ali respectively, as Adam and Blake did with theirs, In Billy and Sundance. The fact that Josh made it this far, and nailed this week’s song choice, is a credit to Adam-- and his experience showed. The one fault I had with Adam was he let Nolan Neal go home early.
I still regret that Alicia kept Christian over Josh Halvorsen. Josh H. really knew how to creatively deliver a song. He’s the one artist that I would have in my song list.
At least we are spared having Christian in the final four.
I agree with your points in general, jshain, athough I seem to have liked We’s last couple of Monday night performances more than most people here.
I started off watching this season, but kind of lost interest. We was one of my early favorites, and I’m excited to see she’s now in the final four. I totally agree with @ams5796 about her being a cross between Joan Armatrading and Tracey Chapman, both wonderful singers.

Thought Josh did very well and liked the fact that he wrote the song. I was skeptical that Billy was going to sing My Way as every hack singer on a cruise ship seems to do it but thought he was great. Thought Alicia sounded terrible and didn’t enjoy We that much either . Just thought it was a strange song choice. Sundance is on now singing a song he wrote also. I preferred Josh , actually. But maybe I’m missing something with Sundance as he seems to be a frontrunner.
