Is "The Voice" Your New Vice?

Will be following this thread as Moriah is from my area. Very young - I think only a jr in high school. But kudos to her for even competing.

Haven’t heard her sing - when will she perform next?

Keisha 43
Adam P. 37
Moriah 37
Chloe 30
Jon 29
Mitchell 22
Davon 22
Ashland 9

@NinaReilly , who was the other female contestant from that band?

I must say that I just love Red. He has such a great personality and sense of humor, in addition to being a wonderful country singer.

@Consolation Her name is Grey, she’s from Florida (by way of Berklee). A couple of seasons ago.

… and I just searched the thread to see if she (Grey) had been mentioned, and I see you were not a fan, Consolation! Oh well  I remember that she went out on a song Adam (I think) had picked for her that was way outside her genre/comfort zone, I thought (a rocker song, and she was a ballad girl). It was not reflective of her voice or personality. She is a lovely person, a really sweet, down to earth girl.

Emily, while a beautiful singer, just lacks engagement with the audience, or something I just can’t quite put my finger on. It was like that seeing her sing in person too.

Ack! I don’t remember her at all.

@Consolation Very pretty dark haired girl, 2013, I think on Adam’s team. Anyway, I’ve managed to get the thread off current season track, sorry!

Here is Greylyn, aka Grey:

Playoffs start Monday. Notice I did NOT say "Live Playoffs? The schedule as follows:

Monday 11/13 (2-hour show)
Teams Blake and Jennifer perform

Tuesday 11/14
Team Miley performs

Wednesday 11/15
Team Adam performs

I can not decide who will be my no. 3 seed in my top-3. I will have Noah and Chloe at 1 and 2, but cannot decide between Brooke or Addison at no. 3. I do not currently even have Addison on my team yet.

Here’s to a good week!

So will the coaches choose their top three to continue to the live rounds? When does the “bring back” artist come into play? So glad you keep us informed, @jshain

Yes, coaches have already chosen their top-3. Coach’s comeback artist, I’m assuming, comes into play all 3 nights this week depending on when that coach’s team performs. Okay, wasn’t going to say, but here are the comebackers:

Nancy (Blake)
Lucas (Jennifer)
Whitney (Adam)
Karli (Miley)

^Oops, should be Natalie not Nancy as Blake’s comeback artist.

So much screaming tonight.

Keisha is a great singer but there is nothing country about her.

i had to pop out right when chloe was singing. How was she? what did she sing? i liked her so much a few weeks ago. . . .
and i agreed with all the choices so far.

Chloe sang Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time.” She was good. I agree with Blake’s choices.

I don’t really care much for ShiAnn, but I knew Jennifer was going to choose her. I preferred Chris over ShiAnn, but he and Davon are too much alike and Davon was better tonight.

I thought Chloe had an off nighr. I did not love the song choice, She looked like she was doing a studio rather than a stage performance. Only 57% of those online thought she should “absolutely” go to the Live Shows, which was the lowest percentage of all the other 5 artists moving on to the top-12 on Monday’s show. Since I am not watching the show in real time I’m unaware if those playing along are responding before or after the coach makes their selections, and in what order their name is called, because that would certainly affect the percentages.

Here is where America stood with the other artists moving on to the Live Shows that were playing along. (I have a house guest on Tuesday, so may not be able to track this for the Tuesday Playoffs):

Davon 75%
Noah 74%
Red 71%
Keisha 70%
Shi’Ann 61%
Chloe 57%

Here are the iTunes Top-200 rankings from Monday, at the present time (and not updated for past 60 minutes or so):

Noah, In The Air Tonight, 31
Red, Chiseled In Stone, 71
Chloe, Time After Time, 87
Davon, I Am Changing, 102
Keisha, Love Can Build a Bridge, 191

Shi’Ann has not cracked the top-200 as of now.

The only one I have “set in stone” in my top-3 at this time is Noah.

IMHO: I feel really bad for Chris. He was given the absolutely worse song for him to sing of all. Even so, should definitely have gotten the nod over Shi’Ann. Jennifer getting too emotionally vested in her, adversely effecting her decion making. Jenn didn’t do Davon any favors with his song selection either. Mitchell also got handed a lousy song. He falls way short of Bryan Adams in vocal ability, which I kept thinking throughout his performance.

Hmm, I really liked Chloe last night. I was underwhelmed by Keisha, who I thought made the song less tuneful than it should be. Davon was definitely better than Chris, Mitchell showed the same weaknesses he has before.

I just love Red.

I still have Jon sitting in my top 3, since we haven’t heard him in weeks. It’s really annoying.

I think the coaches made the right choices.

Yikes #5576: Emotionally INvested. Adversely affecting…

Consolation, who do you have at nos. 1 and 2-- Noah and Chloe?

We kept saying we wanted Chloe to open her eyes. I moved her up to my top three since I lost Chris and Hannah from my top three last night. They were only up top because I was afraid I would lose the day count if I shuffled anyone else up there. The count did stay the same when I moved Chloe though. So apparently it is safe to move them around now. I moved Shi’Ann up and still have Jon. I will probably do more moving based on who is left from the bottom. I still like Brooke and Addison. I added Karli and Whitney back to the bottom just to keep it full for more points.
