Not everyone on Twitter loved Sarah Grace’s rendition of Amazing Grace. I loved it but there are plenty of folks that tweeted their displeasure.
No one at our house who was watching liked that rendition of Amazing Grace. Opinions differ! The comments here were along the lines of, if you want to sing House of the Rising Sun, sing it, same with Amazing Grace. The mash-up didn’t work for us.
I’m pretty sure we sang that version of Amazing Grace in my church youth group back in the days when dinosaurs roamed.
Reagan made me want to cover my ears and run. I was surprised by how much the judges fawned over her - guess may they figure she can just use auto-tune if she ever gets a record deal? I don’t get it.
I really liked Kennedy’s performance. Perfect for her age, and she was a breath of fresh air. It is nice to have a bit of a break from some of the overly dramatic performances (yes, they do show off voices - but I do need a break from it at times).
I fell asleep before everyone had performed, so I have to find the performances to watch later.

Watched the episode this afternoon. I really, really like Kirk. I hope he wins. Nice to see Kennedy do something different, although I wasn’t crazy about the song. Kimberli finally gave a really great performance that wasn’t wall-to-wall screaming. I think Blake described it perfectly as “tasteful.” I was again pleasantly surprised by Sarah Grace. Chevel continues to be cute, but eh. Chris continues to be pleasant. Dave continues to be solid. Reagan continues to be grossly overrated. DeAndre continues to disappoint given his vocal chops. Makenzie continues to be competent but not move me for some reason.
I’d love to see Reagan depart, but I’m not holding my breath.

I am still confused re itunes and Apple stream. Do both count towards getting saved? And if so, how do we see the Apple stream #s?
