The reason Dave is in the top 10 can be discerned by listening to Dixieland Delight. 
Chris, on the other hand, did nothing at all with his moments in that song.
DeAndre is a great singer, but I really question his song choices.

Kennedy is singing an uptempo song tonight and, I think, she will be DANCING. If any of you have seen her on YouTube then you know this kid can dance. East coasters, let me know how you like the show…
Kennedy is up first. She has 8 background singers. Energetic, young and super cute. Maybe not the best vocal I’ve ever heard but this looked like a legit real number you’d see professionally. It was nice to see her away from ballads.
She is an amazingly talented girl. Great voice, accomplished dancer, and very poised. Theatre has taught her well.
Reagan up next. Most streamed artist 2 weeks in a row, which i find surprising. She sounds like she’s yellling and off key. It’s painful.
Sarah Grace doing amazing grace lyrics to the music of house of the rising sun. She’s really good. She’s playing the trumpet as well. Some people just ooze musicality and she’s one of them.
The thing about Reagan that bothers me the most is her breathing. She seems to gasp for air in spots. Did that happen tonight? Her middle range also sounds great but I don’t always like her highs and lows. I think she had gotten too much love the last 2 weeks…

Her performance was just posted on YouTube (before Kennedy). Truer words were never spoken about dear sweet Reagan tonight. She hurt my headphones.
MaKenzie was great! Loved her performance of the song much more than Celine’s!
How many get eliminated this week?
I liked Kennedy, Kymberli, MaKenzie, Sarah Grace, Chevel, Chris the most. The women are great this year. My top three right now are Kymberli, MaKenzie, Kennedy.

Actually, I think two go home this week to make the top eight. I don’t remember hearing them say, but I thought that’s what @jshain posted (#6455) last week. And then four go home next week to leave four in the finale.
Reagan was really off tonight.
I liked Chevel, although that song is a little repetitive. I thought it was funny how they fixed her hair to look a lot like Loretta Lynn. Loretta always performed in evening gowns. I’m glad they didn’t go that far.
I thought Kirk’s performance was really touching. He does seem to feel it and he makes me feel it.
Not sure which two will go home. I thought Chris was forgettable. Dave had a better song this week, but he could be in danger.
Loved MaKenzie, Kymberli, and Kennedy. Lots of good ones this year.
From last week I said: “Next week, TWO get eliminated (from what I understand), compromising the top-8 Semi-finalists, then the following week HALF get eliminated and that becomes your Final-4.”
I just read earlier today, on another blog, that one goes home tomorrow. Now that musicmom points out 2 going home, I think she’s right.

Hoping the bottom 3 are Reagan, DeAndre, and Chris but would not be surprised if Dave is singing for the save instead of Chris. Anyone else in the bottom would surprise me.
Edit: How the heck did MaKenzie only get a one chair turn in the Blinds?
I completely agree! Not only did she only get a 1-chair-turn this season (Blind Audition #4 of 7), she got a NO-CHAIR-TURN last season!! If Kennedy is on the bubble next week, or if Kennedy should possibly go home, it will be because of MaKenzie.
