If Reagan sang like she did last night during the blind auditions, she wouldn’t have gotten a single chair turn.
And Blake may well win again. I’m just not a fan of Kirk’s voice.

Just watching last night’s show. I know I said last week that Reagan would be going home this week, but OMG, my cat in heat sings a better cover of Wherever You Will Go.
re @jshain 's suggestions.
Okay, I’m a Luddite, but from what I can figure out Apple Stream is a subscription service. It does offer a 3 month free trial. Am I missing something or does that mean it’s really easy to rig?
I ask because I stumbled across Reagan’s stepfather’s page helping her. He posted something like “Remember STREAM.” One person answered “24/7.” Does that mean that one person can just keep playing the song over and over and all of those plays earns a multiplier? Once you’ve paid for the subscription, there doesn’t seem to be any additional charge for playing a song. Can you set it up so it just plays the same song over and over?
Reagan’s stepfather has
Re. Apple Streaming, I was not under the impression you could play a song over and over and have it count each time you play the song. If that is the case, they obviously need to fix this! I did hear that you can download a song using Apple Streaming for just 30 seconds and have it count as a download.
I did not pay for a subscription. When I opened the Apple Streaming App I saw there was a monthly fee and did not want to pay for it. I do not recall there being a trial, there very well could be, but I don’t like trials because then you have to remember to cancel and sometimes canceling can be tricky. I’m a “Spotify with ads” kind of guy…
Sorry, I meant to save my previous post as a "draft’ but it went off “as is.” It looks like you can vote 10 times per eligible song with the same Apple ID. So, it’s not unlimited. https://voicevote.votenow.nbc.com/rules?app=web

The coaches singing has pretty much exposed the weaknesses of the contestants. I don’t think Kennedy held up next to Jennifer.
Its hard to sing next to a powerhouse like Jennifer. I am biased b/c I am not a fan of country music. so my. “likes” at pretty limited with this final 4.
Here are the EARLY iTunes rankings. Reminder: the Apple streams are the only downloads that count for votes and the winning artist with the most Apple streams gets the 5X multiplier:

Chevel sounds off key to me. And I wish she’d cut her hair. It overpowers her.
For me : Kennedy, Chevel or Kirk, Chris.
Maybe it’s my TV, but it sounded like Chevel’s backup singers were way too loud and overpowered her.
I had suggested Sweet Home Alabama for Chris a month ago but thought it was boring— except his guitar solo was cool.
Didn’t love the Tanya Tucker cover with Chevel. Agree, she got swallowed up with the production. (My wife went to school and was in the same class as Tanya Tucker, freshman year— Basic HS, Henderson NV. Lived in a trailer. She moved after her Freshman year.) There were definitely some pitch problems with her original. I think she will be successful in the biz, more than any of the others.
I really did not like Kennedy’s original or cover. My least favorites. Thought they were both over-produced. Stripped down seems to work better overall and these were anything but. I wish she crossed over into a more jazzy genre.
I hope Chevel wins, but it will probably be Kirk. Don’t remember the last time Country artists finished 1-2. My predictions:

I wish other people were in the finale. None of them wowed me last night. Kennedy needs some help developing an image that isn’t in the shadow of Whitney and Mariah. She’s also clearly trained in musical theater and if she wants a pop music career needs to develop those skills.
I’m really not a country fan. All 3 had pitch problems last night. I think Chris is just boring.
I am not a country fan, but I like Chris most as a person. He has worked hard for a while performing. It would be nice for him to get the payoff.
I keep voting for Kennedy since she’s the only one left on my team. She seems to have a large following and could probably launch a career, not sure how long it would last.
I feel JHud really mismanaged Kennedy’s song choices and performances. Too over the top with all the dancers. I liked the duet but was really disappointed with the cover and original. Agree with eyemamom. Kennedy doesn’t seem to have clarity and consistency with her performances. I wish we could have said she was too theatrical. At least she would have been moving in a clear direction…
I think this was one of the weakest final competitions since I’ve been watching The Voice. None of the performances were all that great, IMO.
I can’t find the rules. Do ONLY the votes for this week count? Or is there some plus for total # of streams?
I think (emphasis on “think”), the Streaming vote bonus will only be applied to this week’s votes and not be cumulative. The iTunes ranking does not closely follow the Apple Streams. If Chris once again wins the bonus, he could shake things up a bit.
Edit: No one sang a Christian song in the Finals. That might be a first…
If I understand this correctly, all streams since November 19 count in declaring the winner. Please read to see if you agree with my interpretation…

I really think the multiplier for streams but not downloads and not itunes is ABSURD.
Maybe I am interpreting this incorrectly but “a vote” would mean 1 vote. The bonus multiplier would NOT be cumulative. But reminding myself, if I have a 50% chance of being correct I am wrong 75% of the time…
