apparently you earn 20,500 just for opening the app. I have 82,000 points and I didn’t even pick a team. I only open the app on Mondays to vote.
I think the App on voting/instant save nights favors east coast fans since it’s only 5 PM (or 6 PM for a 9 PM start time) here on the west coast. I have only remembered to open the App for the instant save once the past few weeks.
I thought the instant save was just Twitter votes. I have never been able to vote since I don’t do Twitter.
I believe I did an instant save using the App a few weeks ago. I tweet but only vote to save someone using the App.
I think the producers have to be very concerned that one coach in particular (Blake) dominates the way he does and one coach in particular (Adam) is so incredibly unpopular. Kelly’s chances kind of imploded this season when all her young girls went home. The young female artists are the secret to her past success.
I really like John Legend. His personality is classy… NOT flashy. This is why, for me, AI is almost unwatchable.
The Mohawk haircut that Adam chose to wear for the past couple of weeks has been kind of bizarre. He already knew he was disliked. Then he chooses to wear a haircut style that promises to alienate even more fans of the show.
I will be surprised if they do NOT return to the old show format for next season since Adam is returning. That is the only way Adam will have any teammates that stick around. He had a fairly decent team this season and look what happened…
I have 3,026,000 and now have Maelyn and Gyth. A few weeks ago I was torn between Dexter and Carter - I should have chosen Dexter. I went down about 40 places.
I filled my team the first night, but then replaced people during the blinds when I thought they were better. It made me lower in points initially then I started taking big jumps up. I haven’t tweeted in weeks except the instant save.
I agree that east coast has the advantage because of the tweeting for the live save. I don’t tweet, this is my only thing I do on Twitter.

I just watched Monday’s show. I really think that all this Adam hate is over the top. Why the hell SHOULDN’T he be allowed to comment on Maelyn, or anyone else? Saying that in his opinion she’s the best isn’t throwing anyone under the bus, for crying out loud. It’s a fact that is plain to anyone with hearing. It’s a lot more meaningful than mindlessly hyping everyone.
I’ve already said it makes me sick that people would vote against his singers because of a beef with HIM. This is their big chance. How petty can you be.
I think John has a lovely personality.
I thought that all of Blake’s men had lousy to meh performances, even Gyth, who has started to mightily annoy me. He seems to have an unpleasantly cocky attitude.

I had to take the dog out and missed that one. They all sound good though. I don’t think it’s all just the coach. People love Kelly. I didn’t think Adam had a good team compared to others. Voters tend to choose country but this could split votes.

I think Maelyn is an excellent singer, but to be honest, I wasn’t blown away by her rendition of Hallelujah. It was just a pretty rendition (I cried when I heard John Cale’s version in the movie Shrek; I am mesmerized when I hear Leonard Cohen or Rufus Wainright or Jeff Buckley … or Brandi Carlile … sing it) - while not brilliant, she is very, very good. I really liked Andrew’s voice on All Right Now. I thought Gyth had a lot of trouble with pitch last night.
