Watching tonight, not overly excited about anyone. Why does everyone hate Adam now? Sounds like he’s been misbehaving…behaving badly towards the coaches or contestants?

@busdriver11 , it is because of the thing last season, where his “little girl” was sick and didn’t sing, and he urged voters to vote for her anyway when he should have been promoting his male team member who had just sung.
It was worse than I’m making it sound. People were furious.
Yes, @busdriver11 , Adam threw one of his own team members literally " under the bus." It was strange and creepy.

It’s the semifinals and finally the judges have something critical to say. Yes, poor Carter, you were all over the place at the beginning of that song, and I’m glad the judges acknowledged that they heard it. Makes the show much more interesting than the “great jobs” all around.
I have only watched the YouTube clips of the solos…
I think the fact Rod Stokes and Shawn Sounds had really solid solo performances (especially Rod who sang a Christian song which is smart at this stage) means Blake probably only has 2 going to the Finals instead of 3. I think Rod goes through if I had to pick between the two. Carter was terrible. Too big of a song (like eyemamom said) and he was off pitch (see musicmom above) but had issues throughout. Gyth was better than Carter but he had his worse performance of the season, IMO. I thought Andrew and Kim had the best solo performances on Team Blake but personally hated the staging on Kim’s solo. I think Gyth and Kim survive. My Final 4 prediction:

The fact Gyth is doing so well, despite having an off night, IMO, means he has a shot of winning if he has some good performances in the Finals (assuming he goes through).

Just realized they hadn’t posted Dexter’s solo on YouTube yet. He had a really good performance. I think he may knock Kim Cherry out of the Top-4. Her iTunes downloads were also disappointing.
I’m annoyed, yet again, with NBC and Adam Levine. I want Maelyn to win (just like all of you), she deserves to win, and she probably WILL win, but why give Adam Levine airtime commenting on her solo performance? I just hope NBC’s attempt at manipulating the results doesn’t backfire and hurt Maelyn’s chances by having their 30 million dollar man (annual coaching salary) with no horse in the race (yet again) be allowed to throw all the other semifinalists and coaches not named John Legend under the bus (something that he is incredibly good at) by declaring her the winner?
I can’t believe Adam will be here next season. I found John Legend to have no personality.
I should lose two tonight in my opinion - Carter and Gyth.
I think Maelyn and Shawn should for sure be in it. I’m guessing Dexter will be the third and then there will be the instant save.

I will be surprised if Gyth goes home and is not at least saved. To me, Dexter sounds the same and delivers the same full throttle vocal, REGARDLESS of song selection. I would not be surprised if he was in the bottom even though he did exceptionally well on iTunes. I didn’t love Shawn’s solo this week the way I did last week. I guess I would be a tad surprised if he made the Top-4 even though he had a very solid night.
