Arguably the best 1st night episode in 20 seasons. Lots of amazing talent.
I cannot believe Blake did not know Glory or that it’s John’s song.
skieurope, It was a very good opening night!
I really do not like the block. Very unfair to the artists, IMO.
Agreed. But it’s been here since Season 14, so not going away.
That said, Kenzie would have been better with Blake and Cam with John.
I am enjoying this season so far, but I don’t remember anyone’s name! The two country boys (mullet guy on Monday and young kid Tuesday) sang two of my favorite songs, so they made an impression right away. Not enough to remember their names, however!
Missing @jshain and weekly updates. I am playing along in the app and watching most of the shows. My whole team is from the first show so all 43 days. I always fill it up and replace as spots open up. I am ranked in the 500s. I have: Kenzie, Dana, Cam, Pete, Devan, Raine, Corey and Victor. No top three. I will see who is left in 14 days.
Hi Musicmerit,
I have not been playing along since week 2 this season. I needed to take a break from the show. Our group has gotten much smaller over the past decade. We had a good run! Thanks for the stiff competition for the past 20 seasons!!

@jshain and @musicmerit I have been watching American Idol on Mondays and catching up on The Voice on Tuesdays. I’m not playing along. I still don’t know most of their names! I think Snoop is a very good mentor. I do miss reading your comments. Hope you are well. I am fully vaccinated, but don’t find that much has changed. I guess I never had much fun before COVID. LOL
