I like Caroline, Will, and Cole. I’m bored with the others and ready for The Sing Off to start on December 9th. Some of these finalists seem like fall '13 versions of previous singers; for example, Tessanne seems like a recycled version of Judith Hill to me.

I don’t get it…When I look at itunes, none of last night’s songs are listed, but Carson just announced that 4 made the top 100. Huh? Did they hold the results or something?

James, Matthew, Ray safe so far… (I thought Ray’s stay might be up. I personally don’t put him in the bottom 3, but I thought others would.) Also safe…Will, Tessanne, Jacqui. (So Christina and Adam got everyone through.)

Love the updates. Thanks.

So Austin, Cole, Kat and Caroline…

I think Kat and Austin are going home.

I never have been able to get into the Voice. Can’t wait for American Idol.

Last “regular” save is Cole.

Now twitter “instant save” to choose one of Austin, Kat, Caroline to save.

Personally, I think it should be Kat who leaves. (We know she was in the bottom 3 last week and this week.)

And the save is…Caroline!

Right decision, I think…

So, Kat and Austin leave.

…and if coaches get credit, Adam is leading. He has 3 left. Blake and Christina 2 and Ceelo 1.

I’m not discontented by the eliminations.

My disenchantment with Tessanne is growing, though. Caroline did a much better job with Royals than Tessanne, IMHO.

Ray Boudreaux does nothing for me. Christina’s group songs did Jacqui no favors.

Adam Levine the sexiest man alive? I think not!

Ceelo is in big trouble.

Jonri, thanks for the update.

These are my tiers…

Tier 1… Matt and Jacquie

Tier 2 Adam’s team

Tier 3 Everybody else

dstark, Your tier 1 is Christina’s team.

I know. I think Christina is going to win.

I would take her two and let somebody else have the other 6.

Too bad for Austin, but having one fewer performer like Kat is fine. She should have gone home last week.

Not sure I’d set the same tiers as DStark. Actually, I do not think anyone is clearly ahead, and I do not see the Christina pups in the end. They are not that good and the novelty is eroding.

After Kat’s deserved ticket home, I would not mind Adam losing the next two. And I think Adam will deliver and make that happen.

Xiggi, I am pretty sure matt and jacquie are ahead. ;)

You and I will have a gentlemen’s bet.

I have Christina’s team. You have the rest. My 2 against your 6.

Hopefully, my two wont come down with colds. :)

I am sorry to see Austin go. I think going first is a curse of sorts and didn’t like how he waited so long to hit the big notes. Not sure if Blake’s song choice or advice to hold the big notes until the very end was what sent him home or not. I think it may be Christina and Blake battling it out in the end. I just don’t see James Wolpert in the finals. I admire his intellect more than his voice. His rocker voice gets him off-key, imo. Good chance that Christina gets 2 of her teammates in the final 3. If it was a personality contest, I’d say Tessanne would win by a landslide.

finally found what I was looking for. According to the York ¶ paper, these were itunes standings at 11 am when sales that count closed:

15: Cole Vosbury, “To Be With You” — number 1 on rock chart

19: Matthew Schuler, “”Beneath Your Love” — number 13 on pop chart

21: James Wolpert, “Without You” — number 14 pop chart

30: Caroline Pennell, “Leaving on a Jet Plane” — number 19 on pop chart

33: Tessanne Chin, “If I Were Your Woman” — number 21 on pop chart

39: Ray Boudreaux, “You Are the Best Thing” — number 2 on rock chart

42: Will Champlin, “Love Me Again” — number 24 on pop cart

51: Jacquie Lee, “Clarify” — number 27 on pop chart

64: Kat Robichaud, “We Belong” — number 4 on rock chart

108: Austin Jenckes, “Your Love” — number 6 on rock chart.

Surprising that Caroline needed the save, given the record sales. It seems fair that Kat and Austin went home.

I have Christina’s team. You have the rest. My 2 against your 6. <<<

I think you’re overly generous. That is an easy bet to accept. This competition is all about avoiding glaring mistakes. Jacquie gave you an example of what a bad choice and a poor execution sound like. That Clarify was weak and tonight confirmed the limitations of Jacquie. She will not be able to be consistent.

:)…

In more ways than one!!!

Jshain, :).

I watched the show and the results yesterday night. The takeaway for me is that all the contestants are only mediocre except may be one or two shine on a given night. I am liking Christina more (I didn’t like her outfit during her performance but I guess anything goes during performances). I have to admit I started to fast-forward when Ceelo talks, not because what he says. I can’t stand the “costumes” he wears.

The American Idol contestants seem to have a bit more personality where the judges were really bad - no one except Simon or Keith made any sense. I like the judges on the Voice but not the contestants that much. Is that because it is too rushed after the battle-rounds?

Anyone watching tonight? Thus far, I think Will is the best, but some more to go. It may be partly because I like the song he chose.

Jacquie good too.
