busdriver, Don’t activate the “Magic Fingers” bed massager when the TV is on. If that doesn’t help with the TV sound, adjust the rabbit ears.

I personally would like to see the coaches’ comments format change next season during the live rounds: omit a coach commenting on their own team member. Eliminates the lobbying!

Agree with Cartera about Jessie tonight. She was better last week and thought she had somewhat of an off night. I think she may be near the bottom this week.

Damien is great and super talented but I just don’t think he’s as marketable an artist as some of the others.

I didn’t particularly like Reagan’s song choice, but I love her stage presence, made even more amazing when considering that she is just 16-years-old. I do worry about Blake’s ability to effectively coach her, though, if she makes a deep run.

Felt bad for Luke when he was early on the second bar of his song! Love the tone of his voice and the song choice. My kind of music. I’m with you, Consolation on Luke. PS: get a DVR machine and record the shows.

I really liked Matt tonight. He’s relevant. Ditto for Craig.

Chris and Anita had good nights. Not the best of the night, but good enough to stick around.

For me, Ryan, Sugar, and Jessie had the “least memorable” performances.

I’d probably be in favor of a law that only Radiohead can sing Creep - ever. Not sure choosing a song by Bread is ever a good move although I liked the version tonight better than the original.

Jonri you nailed it for me. There were several times when I thought the singer sounded amazing in the rehearsal and then the performance was disappointing: Taylor, Reagan, Luke. A lot of times I’d prefer if they just sang and didn’t press the flesh with the audience. My favorite remains Matt, followed by Damian. Craig has charisma but country is not my thing. DaNica is growing on me.

It’s always interesting to see how my take matches up with itunes. As of 8:30 am, Matt was at #5. If he stays in the top 10 those votes are muliplied by 10, so he looks safe. Craig is at 11 and Damian is at 12. DaNica isn’t doing well…
Chris, Taylor John, Luke, and Anita all are ranked higher in itunes sales…Still, she shouldn’t be going home. At 8:30, Jessie, Reagan, and Ryan are behind her. Sugar’s song didn’t make the top 200, so she should be going home.

If they have an “instant save” it’ll probably be a choice among Reagan, Ryan and Sugar.

Right now, Adam is looking like the smartest coach because Chris is 4th and that means all 3 of his team–Matt, Damian and Chris-- are in the top 4.

I didn’t watch much last night as I am still pouting that Blake sent James David home over Jessi. However, it seems that jonri called it on Adam being the smartest coach:)

Oh well, now I can turn the Magic Fingers bed massager back on, in my lovely roach hotel.

I was really hoping Ryan would go home. It’s kind of creepy how much Gwen seems to like him, and I want him to get that stupid grin off his face. Plus, I’m a sore loser.

Well, I was happy that Sugar finally left. For a while there I was afraid that Pharrell had actually succeeded in saving her with that final song choice. I haven’t see all of Jessie’s performances, but this one was unimpressive to me.

I think the right ones went home. (Sorry busdriver.) Gwen’s affection for Ryan is creepy. Did anyone see her lose her balance in the opening number? And her comments weren’t real clear. I think she was “under the influence” tonight.

I don’t know how anyone could stand up in those shoes Gwen was wearing. I do think she looked beautiful (face/hair) tonight and I like the way she keeps the dark roots out of her hair.

I’m glad Sugar went home. Hate to see Jessie leave, but I do like Ryan. But not in a creepy way. :)

LOL musicmom. That’s part of the reason I do like Anita. I’ve been to Jamaica 3 times and it’s one of my favorite places! I hope to get back soon to see spend time in the mountains

Well I did not have a good experience there. I won the trip through a contest. The hotel was not one of the all-inclusives on the beach, but fairly far away. It rained every day. First 30 minutes there some guy was trying to sell us drugs. The people were rude when we refused to buy another string of mimosa seeds or whatever they were. Not a good memory. I guess it’s not fair to blame Anita, though. She probably wasn’t even born yet. LOL
