Next year, I will most likely be attending a college without any dorms and I was wondering if there was any sort of a college experience attending a set commuter school?

Is it going to be a sort of highschool 2.0?

Nationwide, the single largest group of traditional age college students is comprised of those who are attending their local community colleges. By some estimates, this may be as many as half of that population. The second largest group is comprised of those who are attending a home-state public university, many of whom are commuting. In other words, based on numbers alone commuting IS the “college experience”.

Happykid commutes to our local community college. She would be the first to tell you that it is not remotely highschool 2.0 unless you want it to be. It really is up to you.

How exactly would it be different?
