Is there a college that gives xtra weight to the cr score?

I have an 800 cr score and a 550 math score. I was wondering if there is any college that would really want a student with an 800 cr score. I am thinking along the lines of prestigious colleges, but any college would be good to know about.

I think that liberal arts colleges tend to have higher critical reading scores, especially since they focus more on deepening the mind…or something.

Take the ACT. Reason being is that when reporting common data set (stats colleges report that are used in rankings, etc) they are only required to report total composite score. Your strong reading scores could carry you to a composite in the 30’s.

That is brilliant. I always thought that the reason prestigious colleges rarely admit students great in either math or cr and low in the other is that the low score will drag down their averages. You say that the ACT would protect me from that?

If they like the rest of your application they will be glad to welcome a way that your scores won’t hurt their averages.
