Is there a Hiking/Outdoorsy club?

Yah, I know there’s the third north explorations floor, but its a little late and Rubin is way cheaper.

So is there? or can I jump in on any outings they go on?

thnx for the help

(Note, Hiking outdoorsy not skiing outdoorsy)

Traveler2Be,

I gather you saw the following link. Unfortunately, there is no mention of a hiking club under recreational clubs. Perhaps you can start one. I think it is a great idea for a club. There are places around, Central Park, the Cloisters, Flushing Meadow Park, Prospect Park, etc. for a more “nature-like” walk.

[NYU > Center for Student Activities, Leadership and Service > Clubs, Organizations & Student Government > Club Directory](NYU)

My understanding in talking to NYU personnel is that students who do not live on Explorations floors can opt to join in the activities. So, that may be the easiest way to
get what you want. Just contact the Explorations Floor Manager for the specific program to let the person know of your interest ahead of time and to be informed of any policies around that. GL! It sounds like a great way to de-stress and stay healthy in the Big Apple.

I have seen organized camping trips to upstate ny advertised on campus before dunno if there is a specific organization.

The club takes nature walks through Washington Square Park and Union Square!

Is there a snowboarding club in Africa?
