Is there a point to taking addition AP exams?

Hey, so I’ve been accepted to Trinity and I know they only give you CREDIT for 2 AP exams, but I was wondering if there is any point to having more AP exams for placement, etc. My school isn’t paying for exams this year, so I don’t want to spend 400 bucks for AP exams this year if they aren’t going to be of any use.

*title should say additional

There’s little benefit at this point unless you want placement, and even then I’d recommend only Calc AB/BC, Chem, or Bio if you’re planning a math/science route.

Only for placement, or if you want to graduate early.

You can apply additional AP credits toward acceleration if you choose to graduate early. If you plan to graduate after 8 semesters, you can apply 2 credits. If you plan to graduate after 7 semesters, you can apply 4 credits. If you plan to graduate after 6 semesters, you can apply 8 credits.
