<p>What I mean is are the GSIs compelled to mark them by say one week? The thing is I wrote a 6 page paper for one of my classes which got marked in 5 days. For another class I wrote a page and a half essay (both GSIs had 2 batches of about 25 each) and its been almost 2 weeks and I still haven’t got it back. When I asked him when he planned to mark it he just told me “I have 50 of these to mark so give me some more time”. Whats the standard time most GSIs mark papers in?</p>
<p>There is no time official time limit that is enforced by the school, but maybe the class. Ask your GSI when he/she is planning on returning the papers, otherwise email the professor and ask.</p>
<p>I find that the bigger the class, the more timely the grading is.</p>
